OpenBudget connects your bank and investment accounts to Claude, ChatGPT, and any other AI assistant through MCP, so you can ask real questions about your money and get real answers, not generic advice. Once connected, every transaction and every holding syncs automatically. Ask about your spending, your net worth, your dividend income, or what you'd owe in capital gains tax before you sell, and Claude answers from your actual accounts instead of guessing. The connection is read-only. OpenBudget can see your data but can never move money, place a trade, or change anything in your accounts. It works with whichever AI client you already use, so you're not locked into one app to get value from it.
