PlayXO

PlayXO walks the Bitcoin private key space and shows the balance of the corresponding addresses. It stores nothing: keys are generated on the fly from the page number you are looking at, because storing them all would require more disk than exists.

It is a demonstration of scale. The practical lesson is that the key space is large enough that browsing it is entertainment rather than an attack, and that is exactly why Bitcoin addresses are safe to publish.
